Statement Pieces
These are the pieces that do all the work, so everything else can stay simple.
My rule is nearly always that when you are wearing a statement earring, it is rings and bracelets only, allowing the earrings to be without competition. And with a cuff, well, a cuff is enough.
Stand out from the crowd. The effect can be dramatic, in the very best way, and there is no age limit to this look.

Although the stones speak for themselves and need no help from me to look their best, I did want to design a piece with versatility, to be enjoyed in two ways. In the daytime as a gorgeous simple turquoise necklace, then increasing the impact for the evening by adding the beautiful smoky quartz dropper. The rich chocolate brown of the smoky quartz looks amazing with the turquoise.
Shirt and jeans are perfect companions for this piece. Something about denim and turquoise works in my mind. In summer I love to wear turquoise with linen to create gorgeous textures, and in winter it's so chic over a roll neck, or sitting stylishly within the v of a cashmere v-neck.
Timeless, authentic and undeniably stylish.

I love a chunky silver ring, both to wear and to admire on others. They look modern and fresh as well as making a stylish statement. When I began thinking about designing the Halle I knew I wanted to create a precious version of the chunky silver ring. Around the same time I had also been working with my diamond supplier to gain a deeper understanding of lab grown diamonds, so I brought the two things together.
The Halle is a bespoke ring, meaning you can select your own size of diamond. If the stone is above a certain size (half a carat, 0.50ct) it will come with full diamond certification, just as a mined diamond would be certified, by the same international diamond certification institutions. I designed the diamond to be wrapped in gold to create a subtle contrast in metals and to add a touch of luxe. The chunky design of the Halle is incredibly comfortable to wear, as the ring tapers in width at the back.

One of my favourite stone and colour combinations is the rich brown of smoky quartz with the green/blue of aquamarine. You will see this combination in the Imogen long necklace, but I wanted a short necklace with the same beautiful combination of colours and stones, so the Alaia was created!
I select each aquamarine stone for this necklace to ensure the stones have natural brown markings. The smoky quartz draws on these markings, as does the deep brown thread used to string the stones. As a result the Alaia has a wonderful unity, just as I had intended. The detachable smoky quartz drop is the icing on the cake for me, as I love a necklace which can be worn in two ways, clasp and dropper to the front or dropper removed and clasp to the back.

The Fabienne ring has such timeless elegance. The perfect combination of making a statement and femininity. I hand select each pearl for this ring, working with my pearl supplier. After many years working together they know the quality and size I need to make this ring so special. We can't always get the size we need so sometimes you may find we're temporarily out of stock, but hopefully never for too long! I never want to compromise on the quality of the pearl.

Casual or formal, this necklace will add sophistication and elegance to any outfit. Team it with low key earrings and bangles, in either silver or gold. The necklace is the main event here.
As you can see, I've styled it on our model in a plain layered jersey t-shirt for an elevated casual look, and also with a silk blouse for something more formal. It looks great with dark colours, particularly chocolate brown.

I love a statement ring. I remember choosing a large labradorite ring for my 16th birthday which I still have now. There is something wonderful about looking down and seeing a large stone with all its natural markings, knowing it is totally unique. I adore the look of a large ring. It says something about confidence and knowing your own style.
When wearing a stone set statement ring, try to tie in with a specific colour you're wearing, or loosely with your colour palette. The Kim opal works incredibly well with denim and white, and it also looks great with gentle purples, dusky pinks and lilacs. As for wearing other jewellery with it, the Clemancy cuff and Madge silver hoops are perfect partners with their strong shapes, or a silver bracelet stack and the silver Sandrine.

Since I was a child I have been fascinated with lava stone. I think it came about after my sister went on a school trip and, from what I remember, visited Mount Vesuvius and came back with a piece of lava. I was amazed by this small piece of black rough stone that was once boiling hot, red lava.
So when I wanted to create a necklace in matt black to provide contrast and texture against clothing, I knew it needed to be lava stone.

I adore this pendant, not only is it hitting a building trend right now of corded statement pendants, but it's also striking and so tactile! The horn is smooth with a wonderful polish and the cord has been finished at the ends with small pieces of horn. Versatile, stylish and on trend!
Jo's Notes
I adore this necklace with its hot red colour and spiky "fronds". I love to wear it with a navy and white striped top, as well as white and navy as single colours. From denim to more formal colours, it always manages to make me smile.
Jo's Notes
The Saskia necklace is so comfortable to wear and I love the cream colour, it seems quite luxe. This piece is perfect over chunky knitwear, a shirt or a silk top. The colour can lift a dark outfit but also it looks incredibly cool and elegant when worn as part of a head to toe neutral outfit.

I wanted to add another statement earring for the collection. It's so easy to just pop these wonderful earrings in, no need to worry about a necklace, just add a bracelet stack or a bangle such as the gorgeous Gabriel. Casual or formal they elevate any outfit. The matt finish, I believe, adds to their elegant finish.
Jo's Notes
The Penny earrings are the definition of a statement earring! They do all the work so no necklace required. I think the Clemancy cuff works brilliantly to balance out the statement.
Jo's Notes
When deciding what statement earrings I wanted in the collection, this was an immediate yes. I love the combination of the labradorite stud at the top and the organic shape of the metal. The labradorite has a tumbled finish, so slightly rough and not too polished, which I think works beautifully with the organic shape and matt finish of the gold plated bronze drop.
A fantastic statement, and no necklace required.

Margot is such a good piece, an essential for a gold jewellery wardrobe. Striking, stylish and easy to co-ordinate with outfits from shirts to knitwear, exactly what I intended when I added it to the collection. I love it!
Jo's Notes
I love the scale of this bracelet with its large links of different textures and lion head tag. It has a contemporary cool look, making a striking statement.

The Nikki is one of the first statement gemstone rings I produced, and a ring I wear at least once or twice a week.
Jo's Notes
African Jade is a stunning gemstone, and its unfacetted surface gives it a smooth polished finish. This ring has been given a matt finish, which I believe works really well with a cabochon, unfacetted stone.

The rich deep brown of smoky quartz is such a perfect partner to the cream of pearls, they really enhance the beauty of each other. When designing the Katrina I wanted to offer versatility, so the necklace could be worn in a choice of ways: plain without the pearl dropper and clasp to the back, or with the dropper for a gorgeous pendant necklace. You could also put the pearl on a chain for an extra necklace option.
Jo's Notes
The Clemancy is what I call my signature piece. When I began JoJo Harris it was the piece I knew, from the very beginning, would be in my collection. The studio and I worked to create this gorgeous, concave shape with the surface having a gently hammered finish. We make each one to order giving a beautiful bespoke look.
Jo's Notes
I love a long necklace but sometimes I want more of the gemstones or pearls so I created the Nadia with its double layer. I love how the first layer of freshwater pearls draws your eye down to the final strand with its beautiful smooth rock crystal dropper, centralising the longer strand of this timeless pearl and gemstone necklace. My favourite way to wear this necklace is over a simple silk or jersey top or vest. So chic.
Jo's Notes
Creating this bracelet was a joy, selecting the beautiful strands of labradorite in different shapes, facetted rounds and ovals, teamed with these beautiful silver grey baroque pearls. A stunning bracelet to be worn on its own, no stacking required! Knitwear or silk, this bracelet elevates an outfit. I love to keep my dressing tonal when I wear this, so I will wear it with grey or maybe white and grey.
Jo's Notes
The combination of black with cream pearls is timeless and in my mind always makes me think of Coco Chanel. I designed this necklace as I wanted a statement piece in this striking pairing, to sit in the neckline of a shirt or jacket. I decided on black thread for the stringing to emphasise the contrast and also give the necklace a chic modern edge.
Jo's Notes
I love the polished smooth texture and natural colour mix that horn brings to an outfit. The Ellie cuff is a great piece, with each cuff having its own unique markings. If I'm wearing all black or cream I love the mix of colours it can subtly introduce to the outfit, creating interest and texture.
Jo's Notes
The Honey cuff (or wide bangle) is one of my all time favourite pieces. The unique natural markings and polished finish is beautiful and it always makes a bold statement. It's perfect with natural fabrics in summer and also beautiful with knitwear.
Jo's Notes
I love this ring for its simplicity, colour and its drama, which comes from the size of the domed top of the ring. Simply stunning and I love wearing it with wood and horn bangles and the black mix horn cuff stacked up on my wrist. Needless to say I feel the same about the same style in cream!

This is a 'one of one' necklace and I believe it is one of the most incredible necklaces I've created. The colour combination is both surprising and truly beautiful.
When I sourced this beautiful olive jade I was unsure how I would use it but loved its subtle sparkle from the tiny facets of the beads. This large amethyst was a rare find as large stones like this are extremely hard to source, in my experience. When I combined the two stone colours it felt so exciting.
Keep all other jewellery silver and pared back - the beautiful Cecile necklace is the main event!

Rock crystal is a fairly new love of mine. I came across it - actually I was drawn to it - at one my suppliers . I could not get over how tactile it was with an ethereal beauty.
I created this particular piece as I was researching one of the colour trends of Ice Blue, as an accent colour. This translated into rock crystal for me. The coolness of its touch, its quiet elegance and incredible versatility to work with so many colours in our wardrobes - particularly with cool ice blue shades.
I mixed two cuts and shapes of rock crystal in the Ingrid to add both interest and contrast but also to able to enjoy both the smooth, clear nuggets and beautiful highly-facetted rounds.

The Halle can be customised to your requirements, be that the diamond size, or multiple diamonds or maybe you'd like a colour gemstone, the choice is yours. Please just get in touch.
The Halle came about as I've always loved -and often wear (Mabel and Molly together are my usual combination) a statement silver ring or rings. Diamonds have always fascinated me and in recent years I have been learning more and more about lab-grown diamonds and the benefits around them. I wanted to combine the two- to give a luxe finish to one of the most useful pieces of jewellery.
