In my early career as a womenswear buyer I used to visit Milan on a fairly regular basis. Often the stylish women I saw wore statement chains, which I absolutely loved. These weren't chains created from base metal with a thin gold plate, these were the real deal. I wanted one.

That look stayed with me until I finally created the Sandrine. So this necklace is my nod to the stylish women of Milan I saw all those years ago.

The Stella is such a great piece, with its scattering of coloured stones in different shapes and central opal allowing it to work so well with lots of outfits. I decided to have a gold 20 inch chain so that it can be layered with shorter necklaces. It's a great everyday necklace to look modern and finished.

The Fabienne ring has such timeless elegance. The perfect combination of making a statement and femininity. I hand select each pearl for this ring, working with my pearl supplier. After many years working together they know the quality and size I need to make this ring so special. We can't always get the size we need so sometimes you may find we're temporarily out of stock, but hopefully never for too long! I never want to compromise on the quality of the pearl.

Pearls are my go to. A bracelet, earrings or a necklace, I always reach for them, either as the statement or as a beautiful, quiet and elegant addition.

The Bella, along with the Bonnie which is the same bracelet with a silver clasp, is one of those pieces I would put in a wardrobe essentials category. It works beautifully on its own and looks great layered or stacked with other bracelets for a more contemporary twist. I selected these pearls specifically for their gorgeous irregular shape, size and lustre.

Pearls are the birthstone, though not technically a stone, for anyone born in June. How lucky.

The Tiffany earring is low key yet also gets noticed, I know that's a contradiction! I think it must be the lovely hammered effect on the silver and strong yet simple shape. I love this earring for day time but it's also great for night time too. I'd recommend wearing the Tiffany earrings with the Angel hammered bangles for a subtle stylish connection of the hammered finish.

When deciding what statement earrings I wanted in the collection, this was an immediate yes. I love the combination of the labradorite stud at the top and the organic shape of the metal. The labradorite has a tumbled finish, so slightly rough and not too polished, which I think works beautifully with the organic shape and matt finish of the gold plated bronze drop.

A fantastic statement, and no necklace required.

I created the Lori because it's a cool piece to layer or wear on its own, and it makes a perfect gift. I love that you can wear it in two ways: either with the lariat drop as shown in the main picture, or move the T bar fastener to the circle above the pearl and disk for a necklace without the drop. Great for a weekend away or a holiday, pack one necklace and wear it two ways with different necklines.

There are so few outfits where this necklace wouldn't work. I love to layer it with the Kat pearl necklace and the Amelia coral necklace for a relaxed look. It also looks very chic with the Claudia diamond look necklace. The gold Angel bangles make great partners.

Rosewood with gold tipping is such a rich combination, and the natural grain means no two pairs are quite alike. Made for me by the wood experts The Branch, who I have worked with for a long time. Mixing textures across jewellery and clothing is one of my favourite things, and these look wonderful against linen in summer or a chunky knit in winter.

The Lee necklace came about as I wanted to create a contemporary heavy link necklace which could be worn with either the plain link to the front and clasp to the back or have a feature clasp to the front. I also wanted the ability to layer other necklaces above it so I made it 20" in length to allow for this. Also this length can elongate the neck and form a beautiful "v" shape in the neckline.

There is something about a hoop that lifts a face, and I find them incredibly flattering on my customers, often taking ten years off. Rosewood gives this one a warmth that blackwood doesn't, and the grain shows beautifully against the gold tipping. I love the vintage feel of the Ines, which is exactly what I was trying to achieve. Based on an old coin it has a slight irregularity to its shape, giving it an authentic feel. I love to layer this both with other short necklaces such as the Kat or Claudia, but it also makes a perfect partner to longer necklaces such as the Imogen, because it sits beautifully in the natural "v" shape a long pendant necklace makes.

To me this earring is the epitome of a statement earring. It's bold yet stylish, and it needs nothing else.

Customers are sometimes nervous around it, but once they've tried it they cannot believe how good it looks. Our model Mhairi is wearing it with a black satin shirt and black bottoms, and it's all she needs to elevate the outfit.

A strong ring, like the Nikki rutile quartz, will complete it to perfection.
