Solely Silver
"Cool, quiet and endlessly wearable, my silver jewellery is the edit I reach for when less is more. These are the pieces where the silver itself is the design: rings, cuffs, bangles and chains, cast in the UK from recycled sterling silver. If you are looking for a strung piece with a silver clasp, use the silver filter on any collection page." - Jo
Jo's Notes
The May ring is such an easy design to wear. This gemstone is bezel set, meaning it's encased in silver, and it sits beautifully on a graduated slim band. It's a subtle design which always gets admired.
Jo's Notes
As with each of the gemstones set in the Isha ring, the peridot is so pretty, vibrant and a joy to wear. I sourced these stones so the light could pass through and you can see the full shape of the stone from the side. The ring is intentionally lightweight, so it's comfortable if you're new to wearing a slightly larger ring.
Wear it on its own, or stack it with a plain Molly or another Isha in a different gemstone. I wouldn't wear anything else in peridot alongside it. It would look too matchy, and read as dated rather than simple and modern. Plain silver in different textures is lovely: the Angel hammered bangles with the Athena polished bangle and the Ines silver coin pendant.

I'm a huge fan of green tourmalines, in fact of tourmalines in general. This beautiful oval, clear green tourmaline is such a lovely example of the stone.

I struggle to find an excuse not to wear something pearl every day. I simply love them in any shape and size: necklace, ring or earrings.
This freshwater pearl ring is a perfect complement to other rings, either plain silver or stone set, as well as looking so pretty worn on its own.

This single bezel set pink tourmaline ring is striking for its size. Even stacked with other semi precious stone rings it holds its own and adds plenty to the mix.

I love the addition of the CZ to this stack of rings, it adds a bit of sparkle that only a diamond look stone can.
Our silver rings are cast in the UK from 100% recycled silver, with our casting partners being pioneers in the "lost wax" method. They are finished with the JoJo Harris hallmark, which is held at the London Goldsmith Company, who became the first official "home of hallmarking" in 1478.

This single bezel set blue topaz sits beautifully on a slim silver band, and it is a joy to wear every day. I love it stacked with the other Clemmy rings, or worn on its own where the clarity of the stone can really be seen.
Jo's Notes
I love a hint of sparkle and the Vixen certainly gives me that fix. This tiny stone set sleeper has a modern edge with the sparkle talon drop. They are both pretty and slightly edgy at the same time. The polished silver edge looks great against the diamond look.
Jo's Notes
The Trin earrings came about as I wanted a gemstone stud that was large enough to enjoy more of the gorgeous stones. Labradorite is usually where I start with any new gemstone earrings, because I find the colours incredibly versatile and beautiful to look at, as you are constantly seeing new shots of colour from grey to blue to green.
Jo's Notes
I believe you can never have enough hoops, they always seem to add an element of fun and youthfulness to an outfit somehow.

In my early career as a womenswear buyer I used to visit Milan on a fairly regular basis. Often the stylish women I saw wore statement chains, which I absolutely loved. These weren't chains created from base metal with a thin silver plate, these were the real deal. I wanted one.
That look stayed with me until I finally created the Sandrine. So this necklace is my nod to the stylish women of Milan I saw all those years ago.

With its facetted stones the Rosie is a beautiful bracelet. Easy to co-ordinate, wear it as a single bracelet or as the perfect piece to add interest to a bracelet stack.
Jo's Notes
Labradorite is one of my all time favourite semi-precious stones. I have created this bracelet from beautiful facetted rondelles which catch the light and co-ordinate beautifully with so many colours - greys, navy, black, cream, purple, pink, lilac and so many more!

The Penny earrings are the definition of a statement earring! They do all the work so no necklace required. I think the Clemancy cuff works brilliantly to balance out the statement.
Jo's Notes
I included the Otti earrings in the collection because they are brilliant everyday earrings. They always work with silver or gemstone necklaces, particularly when you don't want competition from your earrings but do want something of quality in your ears.
Jo's Notes
The Nikki is one of the first statement gemstone rings I designed, and a ring I wear at least twice a week.

I have been wearing the Molly ring for years and I still love it! I particularly like wearing the Molly and the Mabel together as I love the contrast of the matt and shine.

The perfect everyday earring! The Minnie came about as I wanted to combine gemstones with the practicality and comfort of an everyday earring, offered in both silver and gold. Moonstone is such a pretty stone, with its milky white shot through with colours of blue and pink. Moonstone simply had to be in the collection, far too pretty to exclude.

The perfect everyday earring! The Minnie came about as I wanted to combine gemstones with the practicality and comfort of an everyday earring, offered in both silver and gold. Labradorite, being one of my favourite stones, was first on my shopping list! The versatility of this colour never ceases to amaze me. Whatever colour you wear, it seems to be able to tone and complement.
Jo's Notes
I find the colour combinations in labradorite extremely versatile, and the May is such an easy design to wear.
Jo's Notes
This was my first ever hoop and it had to be a very particular size, not too big and not too small, so it could be suitable for every occasion and outfit. A good pair of hoops can make someone ten years younger, they look modern and stylish. Perfect for everything from a day's shopping to dinner or a cinema trip with the girlfriends.

I'm passionate about beautiful gemstones and the natural quality of their colours, but I'm also a little bit glitzy, and sometimes a bit of sparkle is required. I'm a big fan of hoops, and the combination of tiny cubic zirconias twinkling within a hoop this size is a marriage made in heaven.
I wouldn't wear these with anything else diamond or diamond look, other than rings, as you don't want to cheapen the look. I would, however, layer the Antonia silver bracelet with other plain silver bracelets such as the Athena and the Angel, but no more than that.

I love a statement ring. I remember choosing a large labradorite ring for my 16th birthday which I still have now. There is something wonderful about looking down and seeing a large stone with all its natural markings, knowing it is totally unique. I adore the look of a large ring. It says something about confidence and knowing your own style.
When wearing a stone set statement ring, try to tie in with a specific colour you're wearing, or loosely with your colour palette. The Kim opal works incredibly well with denim and white, and it also looks great with gentle purples, dusky pinks and lilacs. As for wearing other jewellery with it, the Clemancy cuff and Madge silver hoops are perfect partners with their strong shapes, or a silver bracelet stack and the silver Sandrine.

African Jade is a stunning gemstone, and its unfacetted surface gives it a smooth polished finish. This ring has been given a matt finish, which I believe works really well with a cabochon, unfacetted stone.
Jo's Notes
It took time to source these exquisite high grade facetted briolettes, and I believe it was certainly worth the effort.

A short pearl necklace used to be a timeless gift given to women on their 21st, which later fell out of fashion. I love the sentiment around this and wanted to offer a classic strand of freshwater pearls in my collection, but style the necklace in a modern way, which is to layer it with other necklaces. I love it with the Freya or Ines.
